Course Overview
The Associate Degree of Engineering will give you the freedom of choice to start up your engineering career or set a stepping stone for further study. Study while you work, either externally or on-campus, and have the flexibility to adapt your study to your life. Within relevant courses, you will apply practical analysis and technical principles to all areas of Civil Engineering, including the design, material testing, construction, inspection, plant operation and manufacturing processes involved.
Entry Requirements
To study this degree we assume you have sound knowledge in: English (Units 3 & 4, C), and General Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C) We assume that your knowledge is equivalent to a grade C or higher in Units 3 and 4 at high school level (typically studied in Year 12). It is also recommended that you have studied Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C), or equivalent. TOEFL (electronic or computer based) - 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5). Pearson (PTE Academic) - with no communicative score less than 50. Cambridge English: First (FCE)/ B2 First - No less than 162 in each skill.
