Airport Pickup

Melbourne Polytechnic offers free airport pickup for international students, which must be pre-arranged at least one week before arrival by completing an Arrival Notification form and submitting it to the International Office. This service helps new students navigate their arrival in Melbourne.

Scholarships

International Aspire Scholarship

This scholarship rewards our international student graduates by creating further opportunities for our alumni to pursue postgraduate studies, advance their careers and continue their studies with Melbourne Polytechnic. Eligible students will receive 20% off the tuition fee for the duration of the course.

International High Achiever Scholarship

This scholarship recognises new international students with strong academic achievement and aims to support their study abroad to Australia in pursuit of a Melbourne Polytechnic degree. Eligible students will receive up to 30% off the tuition fee for the duration of the course.

International Priority Program Scholarship

This scholarship supports new international students commencing a Melbourne Polytechnic course in priority study areas, including STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), Arts and Design, and other selected programs. Eligible students will receive 10% off the tuition fee for the duration of the course.

Melbourne Polytechnic Transnational Pathway Scholarship

This scholarship rewards our transnational student graduates by creating further opportunities for our alumni to pursue further study with Melbourne Polytechnic in Australia. Eligible students will receive 10% off the tuition fee for the duration of the course.

Accommodation

Off-campus accommodation

Shared accommodation: Shared accommodation is a house where you should have your own room and share the rest of the property with one or more other people.

The price of shared accommodation varies but usually costs $200-$350pw and may or may not include bills. Usually, you would be required to pay 2-4 weeks rent in advance as well as a bond of 2-4 weeks’ worth of rent. You should ask for a receipt for any bond you pay and the bond must be lodged with the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority.
Student housing: Student housing is purpose-built accommodation that students can rent while they study.

They all require you to enter into a residential tenancy agreement and lease the property for and agreed length of time.

To secure the accommodation you would need to pay 4 weeks rent in advance plus 4 weeks for the bond. Pricing varies between $310pw - $390pw.
