Scholarships
Charles Darwin University (NT) 1. Vice-Chancellor's International High Achievers Scholarships (VCIHAS) CRITERIA: Applicant must apply to commence study in 2022 Applicants must meet the University's academic and English language entry requirement for their chosen course; Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 85% in their highest completed qualification Applicant must be an international student on a student visa; Applicant must not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsoring agency VALUE - 50% or 25% of the tuition fee for the full duration of the course. 2. CDU Global Excellence Scholarships CRITERIA: Applicant must apply to commence study in 2021 Applicants must meet the University's academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course; Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 80% in their highest completed qualification; Applicant must be an international student on a student visa; Applicant must not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsorship agency VALUE - 50% of the tuition fee for the first year of study and 10% in subsequent years. 3. CDU Global Leader Scholarships CRITERIA: Applicant must apply to commence study in 2022 Applicants must meet the University's academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course; Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 70% in their highest completed qualification; Applicant must be an international student on a student visa; Applicant must not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsorship agency VALUE - 25% of the tuition fee for the first year of study and 10% in subsequent years. 4. Accommodation
Choose to live on or off-campus while you study with CDU. Whether you are moving interstate or to Australia from a different country, you'll find your home away from home. And if you're just visiting the campus for a placement or trade block, you can take advantage of the short-term accommodation options available to you. On-campus accommodation Casuarina accommodation Right on campus, International House Darwin (IHD) is part of the network of International Houses in Australia and overseas, IHD, on Casuarina campus offers both local and international students a residential community. Katherine accommodation Katherine Student Accommodation (KSA) and its grounds are available for our guests' enjoyment, including a recreation room, dining room, sports oval, training and conference facilities and pool. Alice Springs accommodation The Alice Springs Student Accommodation (ASSA) provides accommodation for CDU students, students from other universities undertaking placement, CDU staff and visiting guests, and groups. Off-campus accommodation The CDU off-campus accommodation service is designed to assist new and continuing students and staff to search for appropriate accommodation while studying or working at CDU. We offer a FREE and confidential service providing information and advice on housing options, tenancy advice and support and assistance with accommodation problems.

Airport Pickup
We organise a free airport pickup from Darwin International Airport to your accommodation during peak arrival periods (February and July). If you wish to access this service, please complete the arrival form ensure it returned to international@cdu.edu.au at least 72 hours before your arrival. Once your collection is organised, we will email you a confirmation. Unfortunately, if this form is returned later than 72 hours before arrival, we cannot guarantee a free pickup.

Study Abroad
Study Abroad programs at CDU provide opportunities for students to engage in life-changing study experiences in Australia. Students can choose to study for one or two semesters at a time. As a study abroad student, you will participate as a fee-paying student, which means fees are paid directly to CDU and not to your home institution. Generally, the courses you study at CDU can be transferred as academic credit towards your degree. Transferral of your academic credit is subject to approval from your home university. Contact your home institution to find out if any support is available to help arrange your study abroad experience.
