Airport Pickup
Federation University offers free airport pick-up to new international students arriving in Australia. This means we meet you at the airport and take you to one of our campus residences, a motel/hotel or other accommodation that you have booked. This service is only available if you're studying at the Mt Helen (Ballarat), Berwick and Gippsland campuses.

Scholarships
Federation University offers several scholarships and bursaries to reward merit and support financial need.
- International Student
The Federation Merit Scholarship provides a 20% tuition discount for students achieving a minimum of 75% in prior studies. The Partner Scholarship (20%) supports students from pathway or partner institutions, while the Pathway Scholarship gives 10% off tuition for foundation students. Additional programs include the Vice-Chancellor’s Award (50% fee reduction for exceptional achievers) and the Early Bird Bursary (AUD 3,000 for early acceptances). Federation also provides Accommodation and Paid Placement Support Scholarships for international students.

Federation University offers accommodation through Fedliving, providing safe, affordable housing at campuses in Ballarat, Gippsland, Berwick, and Wimmera. Students can choose from residential halls, shared apartments, or studio units, all fully furnished with access to common kitchens, Wi-Fi, and study areas. Fedliving emphasizes community engagement and pastoral support.
