Scholarships

Australia Award Scholarships: Australia Awards are prestigious international scholarships and fellowships funded by the Australian Government offering the next generation of global leaders an opportunity to undertake study, research and professional development. RMIT Funded Scholarships: Scholarships can help with all kinds of study costs such as textbooks, fees, accommodation and living expenses. While many of the scholarships consider academic achievement, there are also scholarships awarded based on what you are studying, where you are from or your personal circumstances.

Accommodation

Purpose-built student accommodation: These apartment complexes are designed for students and meet RMIT's quality standards. The properties provide a friendly, community environment with strong links to university supports. Housing options: Private rentals, Share houses, Student hostels, Homestay, Short-term accommodation. Rental advice and support: To ensure you have stable accommodation while you're studying, it's important you understand how leases, bonds, inspections, maintenance and repairs work in Victoria.

Airport Pickup

If you are a commencing international student arriving in Melbourne for the first time, you can get free transfer from the airport. You can be picked up from Melbourne Airport or Avalon Airport. To request your airport pickup service, you must: Have accepted your RMIT offer, received your CoE and a valid student visa, and booked your flight to Melbourne. Submit airport pickup request at least five business days prior to your arrival date.

A Study Abroad program is a fantastic opportunity for international students to study courses at RMIT University in Melbourne. Note: Study Abroad semester 1 2021 is closed due to COVID-19. We will start accepting applications for Semester 2 2021 in approximately February 2021.
