Course Overview
Community Services is a sector with a variety of challenging and interesting roles and opportunities allowing you to specialise in the sector or work as a generalist. Our Community Services Course will help prepare you for the outside world. You may be involved in managing, coordinating and or delivering of person-centered services to individuals, groups or communities. You will be providing direct support to individuals or groups of individuals using a strength based case management model.
Entry Requirements
have sufficient level of language, literacy and numeracy levels in order to interpret documents, student guides and assessment tools, prepare written reports and plans; have good verbal communication and interpersonal skills in order to establish and manage professional networks and client relationships with clients of various ages and backgrounds; Empathy and a desire to provide person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities Year 12 or equivalent and above, and International students must be 18 years of age or above
