Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours)

Course Overview

In this degree, you will develop the skills needed to work as an occupational therapist to deliver life changing outcomes. You will learn how to enable people to do the activities - occupations - they need or want to do in order to live a meaningful life, but have difficulty with due to illness, injury or other disadvantages.

Entry Requirements

Students who have completed Years 1 and 2 of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (1400) are eligible to apply for this program. Students in this program will undertake the 30 credit point dissertation in Year 3 and 4, as determined by the Program Director and subject to the following criteria: achievement of a minimum GPA for all coursework at the completion of second year of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (1400). The Program Director will take the following into consideration when assessing applications for admission: The suitability of the proposed dissertation topic; and The resources available to support the candidature including availability of appropriate supervision. Pearson Test of English (Academic) with a minimum score of 65 in each of the four communicative skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking). The Occupational English Test (OET) with a minimum score of B in each of the four components (listening, reading, writing and speaking).
